Ambient Guitar Improvisation isn't the most creative title in the world… its just what it is.

I started playing guitar in the 8th grade. I attended an arts high school and went on to get a music degree in college. I wanted to score films and the music business is extremely brutal. I worked for a software company doing transcriptions of Jimi Hendrix, Robert Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton and many others. I did countless gigs.

Then somewhere around 2005 I just flat burnt out. I didn't play at all for about 2 years. I still listened to music but I just couldn't make anything myself - it was over mainly due to frustration.

Then I got a weird bug in about 2009 or so and became very interested in improvised, layered electronic work. I started buying delay pedals as the technology had come a long way since the last time I had used it. This was an early work that I recorded when I started experimenting with the delay setup.
